For all of those that are tired of listening to “Last Christmas” to satisfy their yearly musical need for Christmas vibes, Bartleby Delicate offers a heartfelt version of his song “Winter’s Dark” - recorded together with a choir ensemble. The new take on the song of his latest EP could have just as well been a song on Sufjan Stevens’ “Song For Christmas” Album, combining fragile vocals with unconventional arrangements and surprising harmonic changes. The acoustic guitar and the vocal texture of the choir, arranged by jazz vocalist Claire Parsons, provide the perfect song for the peaceful cold days of the year, with Bartleby Delicate's voice providing the light that gets in through the cracks of everyday life.
